More ways to keep it
Groove / click bars
Play the groove for bars,
then just the click for bars, and repeat.
Counted bar by bar: the groove keeps its place through the click bars (the cursor keeps moving through it) and comes back in where it would be. Uses the metronome setting; if the metronome is off, the click bars click on quarter notes.
Flams, drags & ruffs
Spread the grace notes out to practise them slowly, then bring them back in. The grace notes always sit just before their note, so nothing else moves.
Spacing between the grace notes
Grace note volume
Practice timer
Play for a set time or number of bars. When it's up, the groove finishes the bar it's in, ends on a crash, and stops.
Stop after minutes
The timer is saved in the groove's link, so you can send a student "play this for 10 minutes".
Cursor timing
Play a groove and watch the blue cursor. If it runs ahead of the sound, move the slider right; if it runs behind, move it left. This device remembers the setting.
Music spacing
How wide bars of music are drawn: narrower for more on a line (down to a quarter as wide, four times as many, drawn smaller if their notes need it: for looking over a piece, or a big screen), wider for fewer, as far as one bar a line. This device remembers the setting.
Play along with a song
Load a song and the groove plays along with it: the drums come in on the song's bar 1 and stay with it to the end. The song stays on this device: it's never uploaded.

Bar 1
Press Listen and tap the 1 when bar 1 comes, or click the wave on it: bar 1 moves to the hit there. The lines are the song's beats at its tempo; nudge bar 1 until they sit on its hits. While the groove plays along, nudges are heard straight away.
Loop
to
Play just some bars of the song, round and round: drag across the whole song's wave to pick them, or type them. The groove starts on the loop's first bar (with Count it in, over the bar before) and comes round with the song, so its grooves and fills land in the same places every time.
Start from
This device remembers each song's settings, and the groove's link carries its name, tempo, bar 1 and loop: a student who loads the same song plays along in the same place.
